Laying in Bed – book you could/have read in a day

eux9-kuxgaarrip

There’s loads of books I could choose for this because I’m a GREEDY reader: I definitely “binge read” when I’m in to a book. Most recently though, I read Venom by Bex Hogan in a matter of hours. I’ll be honest, I read chapter and had to put the book down for a while. I picked it back up the next day though and MY GOD I RACED THROUGH IT. It’s so worth a read. If you’ve not read Viper yet, please do because both books are AMAZING. I can’t wait for the third one!

Snacking – guilty pleasure book

I dunno if I have any guilty pleasure books? Like there’s no books I feel guilty for enjoying?

Netflix – series you want to start

There’s a LOAD of series I want to start. I think the one that’s the most burning on my list is the Inkheart series. Ever since I found out what it was all about (like literally 2 weeks ago), I have been dying to buy and read them. I only want the new covers though, case they are GORGE (and I’m a total fiend for a gorgeous cover!)

p.s. I totally almost answered this question as a Netflix series I wanted to start hahah!

Deep Clean – been on your TBR for ages

LOL. Let’s just bypass this question cause you ALL know what my answers to this question is…

Animal Crossing – book you recently bought because of hype

I bought The Girl Who Stole An Elephant weeks ago now all because of the hype around it among teaching friends. I haven’t got round to reading it yet though… I don’t doubt the hype, but I’m not a fan of hype.

Productivity – book you learnt or had an impact on you

I think that as I read a lot of books have an impact on me, but I can’t get past this book. I think Matt Haig’s writing is brilliant and Reasons to Stay Alive is one of those special books that comes along when you need it most. It’s just a very special book to me for many reasons.

Facetime – a book you were gifted

My gorgeous love Charlotte gifted me a copy of Starless Sea for Christmas/my birthday and I’m just waiting until my brain is in need of some gorgeous reading material to this extent. I have heard only brilliant things about it, so I am very much looking forward to it! I am a massive fan of The Night Circus, so have VERY high hopes!

Self Care – what is the one thing you have done recently to look after yourself?

I actually blogged all about this! If you’re interested, check out my blog post here all about looking after myself the past few weeks in the midst of *waves hands* all this!

BONUS – name a book coming out soon

OKAY. EVERYONE NEEDS TO BUY BOY QUEEN BECAUSE GEORGE IS GREAT AND IT’S A BLOODY MAGNIFICENT STORY. It’s out in August and it’s just lush. It’s queer, Drag Race, all the pop culture references you want and fabulousness rolled into one book. Seriously. Get it if you want to smile.

And that’s it for this week! As always, I’m not tagging anyone, but if you want to give it a go, please do! If you’ve got a tag you wanna tag me in, PLEASE DO. I love a tag! ThursTAG would not exist if it weren’t for tags!
