Watching the same things over and over again because they bring you joy. Group chats with wonderful people. Seeing my friends again. Making plans. Going out for breakfast. Spending time with my mam. Looking ahead to Christmas. Reading graphic novels. Diving back into series that I love. Reading thrilling finales of series that I love. Listening to my favourite music. When the bus turns up early. When someone comments positively about my lessons. Having days where I feel like I know what I’m doing. Spending time with friends. Going on a train again (!!). Having people offer to help. Putting scarves on again. Journaling. Teachergram. Lessons that just go to plan. Lessons that don’t go to plan but go somewhere you never expected them to. My kids saying lovely things about me. My kids saying lovely things about themselves. Watching attitudes towards learning change, slowly but surely over time. Watching my godchildren grow up. Being able to ease my anxieties about life. Being honest about how I feel. Chocolate. Books. Tea. Starbucks. Watching the sunrise. Trixie Mattel. Treating the people I love to nice things. Books. Always books.
