The Magic Story Box

This past weekend, I was very kindly sent a box of goodies from The Magic Story Box. (I’ve not been asked to post this blog post, but I was so impressed and intrigued that I wanted to share!)

They are the UK’s newest Children’s book subscription box. Dedicated to bringing you the most exciting new releases, and activities to inspire and delight for ages 0 – 12. They provide books, stories and more to inspire children’s creativity and feed their imagination. Their boxes are full of great reading experiences, with expertly curated collections of the newest, best and most interesting books, exciting gifts, thoughtful toys, new ideas and activities for curious and creative minds.

The Magic Story Box offers all kinds of different options for getting books into the hands of children of all ages!

The ‘Build a Book’ box allows you to choose from a collection of books to put in a box.

The ‘Book Subscriptions’ are where I think it’s the most wonderful because each age range has a different colour book subscription. You can choose from 0-2 years, 3-5 years, 6-7 years, 8-9 years and 10-12 years. Subscriptions start from £10.50 a month (which is a bargain if you ask me for a book and activities!).

The ‘Anti Racist book box’ is what I was very kindly sent filled with wonderful books to diversify bookshelves. This would be a great way to start diversifying any library (be it at home, in schools, wherever!). This, again, comes in different age ranges: 0-4, 5-8 and 9-12 (which I personally think is great!).

I’ve actually not read 2 of the books from this box (This Book is Anti-Racist and Black and British) and they’re both books I’ve had my eye on for ages… so it’s a total win/win for me!

This was a wonderful surprise and as a big big fan of book subscriptions I think it’s a bargain AND I LOVE that they’ve got the option for diversifying your bookshelves (because the world knows we need it).

If you’re interested in any of this, or want more information, check out the Magic Story Box website for more information, or follow them on twitter (where I’m sure they’ll be more than happy to answer your questions!)

Another massive thank you to the Magic Story Box for sending me this wonderful surprise!
