I’m coming at you today with the most autumnal of tags?

I have a confession to make: I have NEVER had a PSL. Can you please tell me if I need to try one because I have the FEAR. What if I buy it and I hate it? What a waste of money that would be!

Pumpkin Spice Latte: a book everyone likes to hate, but is delicious.

OH LORDY. I mean… I don’t have one book? But more people need to get on reading and celebrating kids/YA books ESPECIALLY people in the media.

“Fall is my favorite season”: a cliché you can’t get enough of.

OH I STAN A FRIENDS TO LOVERS STORY. Especially if it’s an unlikely lovers pairing. Or a bad boy with a heart of gold.

Sweater Weather to T-Shirt Weather: a book you thought was one thing but was completely different by the end.

Every Little Piece of My Heart by Non Pratt. I didn’t expect it to properly kick me in the feels at all. I honestly knew very little about it when I started reading it (I knew it would be brilliant because Non), so it properly knocked me for 6!

“Spoops”: do you have a spooky book on your tbr?

I don’t read a lot of spooky books… but I’ve got The Haunting of Aveline Jones on my TBR. I’ve heard loads of brilliant things about this book, so I’m just waiting for my fancy to take me!

Tarot Reading: a five-star prediction

Honestly, I have so many books on my TBR, but the first one that jumps out to me is A Secret of Birds and Bone by Kiran Milwood Hargrave. I have adored everything Kiran has written, so I have high high hopes for this one!

Sephora Sage + Crystal Set: a book that meant well but missed the mark by a landslide.

The Girls by Emma Cline. I wanted so so much more from that book than I got. I was promised a brilliant cult book… and I just got something that left me wanting more and I was proper underwhelmed tbh.
