Active September

Hello everyone!

Apologies for this not going up in August… it had totally evaded me!

During lockdown, I was uploading monthly calendars for PE, Writing and Maths and was on the fence about whether they’d be useful to people, but after asking a few people, they said they’d be interested. Over the next few days, I’ll get the Maths ones uploaded too. I’m TRYING to get my head around how it could be adapted for EYFS too… so watch this space!

After speaking to our new PE coordinator, he said he was interested in a September version of the active calendars, so I have been having a go at building one for this month. A lot of the skills are the same as they were in July, but I think a lot of the skills can be ones you do over and over again.

You could send this home for parents, you could use this in PE lessons or set this as break time activities, or even use them for brain breaks – I’d love to know how people will be using this in their classrooms!

As always, there’s 3 different versions: black and white, coloured text and then full colour version. Feel free to download and share with your parents or your staff: it was lovely to hear about how they were being used during lockdown!

As always, I’d love to know if this is any use to you! Feel free to download, share with parents, put on your websites! But please don’t put this on any websites claiming them as your own! I’ll be getting on the case of uploading the Maths ones in the next few days, but if there’s anything you’d like to see, please let me know and I’ll see what I can do!

S x

I have loved using this – thank you so much. Before I start cobbling October/November/December ones together, are you thinking of producing any more?
