HELLO THERE.
How are we all doing today? I’m here to share with you my May bullet journal. I apologise for it taking so long to get this posted… today we shall fix that!
So I asked the people of Twitter what they wanted my bullet journal colour to be and with a resounding 48% of the vote, orange won!
So May was to be the month of ORANGE bullet journal colouring!
My monthly page is a lovely sunshine. Yknow summer and all that!
Then we have a quote page and the monthly overview page. I love this quote because I think it’s something we should all take into consideration. I’m really loving using the Zebra midliners to “highlight” things too. I have 8 different colours and they make me so happy. The monthly overview page is slowly becoming more and more useful, but as you can see it’s still quite plain… I need to have a play around with it to make sure that it’s the best it can be!
Next up is my bookish double spread: book post and books read. This is a spread that I’m constantly playing with. I am getting much better at tracking my book post (left page). I have a key to tell me what I’ve acknowledged (tweeted/grammed), read and blogged. I find it really helpful. When I’d taken these pictures, I’d read 3 books… since then I’ve added 2 more books. The stars system is ultimately flawed, but for my own personal consumption it’s helpful.
Over the page we have my mood tracker and another quote page. I saw this orange idea while I was browsing the interwebs and I decided I needed it. It’s not perfect but I think it’s well cute. I’ve stripped down the amount of moods I’m tracking this month to just 4. I really can’t get the grasp on which moods I need to track (ha!), but these 4 are working this month. On the other page (right), I’ve actually started to fill it in with things that I’d do (or at least try) if I wasn’t so afraid. It’s quite eyeopening to be honest and I would encourage everyone to do it.
As May is the month of Mental Health Awareness Week, I changed this page (left) to be a MH page. I’ve been filling it all month with things that make me smile/things to do when I’m feeling a bit down. It’s quite lovely to see the sheer range of things in my life that make me smile/feel better when I’m feeling a bit fragile. The other side (right) is my trusty gratitude page, filled with all of the things I’m grateful for.
Last up is my weekly spreads. Again, I’ve changed these from last month and I’m already loving it a lot more. It’s very simple/minimalist, but it functions perfectly as I need it to. There’s space for me to see what I’m up to this week (on the left) and then my inevitable to do lists (right). According to these pictures, my to do lists weren’t very long… but they most definitely are MUCH longer than this!
And that’s it! That’s my May bujo. I hope you enjoyed this! If you have any questions or comments, let me know. I’d love to know what you think. Send me links to your bujo posts because I’m nebby and want to see them!
