Good morning fair readers of books!
It is Tuesday, so you know what that means… it’s time for another series round up recommendation!
Now this series recommendation should not come as a surprise to anyone at all. I talk about this ALL THE TIME and I just adore it.
Today, I’m rounding up The Strangeworlds Travel Agency series by LD Lapinski. Honestly, one of my favourite series of all time. It gives me all the things I want… magic, friendship and adventure! There’s mystical and wonderful worlds! There’s bad guys! There’s good guys! There’s intrigue! There’s secrets! This series does it all!

Book 1: The Strangeworlds Travel Agency

A complete and utter ride. Just everything I needed in a book: magic, friendship, laughter, snark and adventure. I think this is going to be something huge. I bloody loved every second. There’s something for everyone here and I can’t wait for the world to read it. The characters are amazing; the worlds are just exceptional and the writing is lush. I want to be part of this world!
Book 2: The Edge of the Ocean

I finished this book and was like “OMG. GIVE ME A MINUTE”. I absolutely adored my second trip in the suitcases of Strangeworlds. This is jam packed with pirate goodness, new friends, old friends, some gorgeous rep and A MASSIVE BOATLOAD OF SECRETS. I’ve not read anything in almost 2 months and just devoured this in 2 sittings. LD is an absolute master story weaver. This has absolutely everything you could want and I DO NOT want to wait a whole year for the next book because THAT ENDING.

Book 3: The Secrets of the Stormforest

Man I don’t have the words for how much I loved this story. How invested I am in the characters and their relationships. This gave me everything I wanted and more: Magic, friendship, adventures, scintillating baddies and old friends. You get everything in this: glorious messages about believing in yourself, important stuff about love and friendship and even a few chuckles. I definitely cried for a good portion of this; gasped a few times and even was suspicious of those who I needn’t be. I love Flick and her gang so much. I’m so sad that this incredible adventure is over… but grateful and pleased that it’s been in my life!

Do you know what’s even better? There’s a Strangeworlds World Book Day book released soon, and I can not wait!
I can not endorse this series enough for a KS2/KS3 class – probably Y5+ up. These would all make amazing read alouds, or some wonderful inspiration for writing! I will be reading this with my class in the Summer term and I can’t wait!
A MASSIVE WELL DONE TO L.D. FOR THIS SERIES – A COMPELTE AND UTTER SUCCESS THAT EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ!!
