ThursTAG: The Last 10 Books Tag

Good morning people of the world!

I hope you are all well and doing glorious! It is Thursday and I have not done a ThursTAG for a while… but I have one for you all today! This I actually saw on one of my faves’ blogs – Kelly’s Rambles: if you don’t know her, please go give her a follow, she’s one of my best friends in the world and I’m so glad she’s doing some blogging again! – and knew I needed to give it a go.

The Last Book I Gave Up On

The last book I TRULY gave up on as in ‘I won’t ever be going back to that’? PASS
The last book I started that my brain wasn’t in the mood for but I definitely kept because I know I need to read it?

The Last Book I Reread

If you know me, you know I don’t reread often… however I had to reread High Rise Mystery for a resource-writing project recently and it was so lovely to go back into that world!

The Last Book I Bought

Oh, I recently went on a bit of a graphic novel splurge (all second hand). I’m into graphic novels and so are my kids, so it’s always nice to buy new ones! Here are just a few of the ones I bought:

The Last Book I Said I Read, But Didn’t

Lol, probs some classic!

The Last Book I Wrote In The Margins Of

I’m doing some respirce writing around vocabulary in The Nowhere Emporium so I have bought a copy to annotate and write in (I can’t write in the copy I own, ha!)

The Last Book I Had Signed

The last book I had signed in person? I was in London JUST before Lockdown 1 with my bestest friend and we were at Melinda Salisbury’s launch event for Hold Back the Tide (then the world fell apart).

The Last Book I Lost

I don’t actually know? I don’t LOSE books very often.

The Last Book I Had To Replace

Ooooh. This is a super popular book at school and the cover was falling off, so I bought a new copy! Chris Colfer is surprisingly a brilliant author.

The Last Book I Argued Over

I don’t get into many “arguments” about books. The last book I disagreed with someone over? A Vow So Bold and Deadly. Someone told me they were not keen… I disagreed, ha!

The Last Book I Preordered

The last one I REMEMBER preordering? I might have already read this BUT I want to support one of my favouries, I can’t resist a signed copy AND I get to support an indie? MINT.

A massive thank you for stopping by my blog today! I’d love to know your answers to these questions – especially the preorder one. What do I need to get preordering?
