Hello everyone!

Sorry I’ve been a bit MIA recently… being back at school is wiping me out! I’m hoping to get a few blog posts up next week though, so you’ve got something to read (if you want to read them, ha!)

This week sees the first week of #SixforSunday does October. This month, we are getting into the Autumnal feels and thinking about all kinds of wonderful autumnal feels!

This week, we’re taking on

Characters/authors you’d like to go for coffee with

I’ve gone just authors, because when I started writing down characters, I had about 50… and authors was much easier to narrow down. Some of these are because I love them, they’re my pals or because I’ve never had the chance to sit down and have a chat with them and I’d really love to!

1. Melinda Salisbury
   Obviously. Who else would go first on my list? I’m a big, big Mel fan and I’d love to just hang out with her for an hour chatting all things books and non-books too!
2. Sara Barnard
   Another obvious answer probably. I adore Sara: she’s the nicest, most wonderful soul and we’ve never really had the chance to sit down and have a chat… so I’d love that
3. Laura Steven
   One of my friends in the real world (I know, it’s mad) but I adore Laura and I proper miss being able to hang out with her. She’s hilarious and I’d love to sit down with her again with a cuppa and just chat.
4. Stephen Fry
   I can’t not include Stephen Fry on this list. I adore the man. He’s just so wise. Plus, he’s got one of those voices I could listen to for hours on end.
5. Kiran Milwood Hargrave
   I adore Kiran and she’s just a gorgeous soul. Ideally our cuppa would happen in her house so I could meet her gorgeous cat, Luna (I mean this in the least creepy sense, ha!)
6. Abi Elphinstone
   Abi’s kids books absolutely blow my mind. I’d love to get the chance to have a sit down with her and chat about her amazing books, her amazing travels and everything in between.

Honourable mentions: Ant and Dec, Rosie and Chris Ramsey, Trixie and Katya.

Let’s be honest, I could keep going with this list… but I think this is a pretty solid representation of who I am as a reader and a human. I don’t think this list will really surprise anybody at all.

A massive thank you as ever to everyone who is joining in with my silly little thing! I love #SixforSunday with all that I am, and even though the chat might not have worked out, I’m still going to carry on doing the blog posts because they make me so happy!
