Today, it’s the turn of a catch up of some films I’ve seen this year! Some of these are “how have you never seen these?” films, ha.

Just Mercy

I’ve never heard of this before Rachel recommended that we watch it together (because she knew that I’d love it, so she didn’t watch it by herself). I am so glad we watched it together – this was SAD. And made me angry at literally everything. Tried hard not to get too invested into I knew that it would break my heart. I can say though that Michael B Jordan is well handsome. 

Missing Link

Again, not a film I’d ever heard of. I loved the look of this and I loved the little cover… he looks like such a happy chappy. I was excited to watch this… and I am so glad that we did! This was SO CUTE. I loved him in his little suit man. What a kid. I love Hugh Jackman. 

Her

This was a film that I’d heard of before… and one that I’d just not got round to watching… and let me tell you, watching it was an EXPERIENCE. This was bonkers, but in a really good way. Love a bit of Joaquin Phoenix. That whole vibe does weird me out a bit though – AI taking over. It feels a bit futuristic and improbable. 

Aliens

Having only just seen Alien for the first time this year, I was looking forward to seeing the sequel. God even knows, these films are bonkers. Random kids we find on a space ship? What’s with her just finding things to rescue? First a cat, now a kid. Bonkers films these.
