IT’S FILM FRIDAY

Today, it’s the turn of a few films we’ve seen recently in the cinema!

A few people have asked how we pay for all of these… get yourself an Unlimited card! It’s less than £20 per month and you can go and see anything you want!

I hope you enjoy my reviews! Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

The Whale

This wasn’t quite what I was expecting. I’d heard so much about this and the trailer itself had me proper tearing up. Don’t get me wrong, it was a moving film about a man dealing with his own life, his relationship with his daughter and his body, but it didn’t move me as much as I thought it would! Brendan Fraser was bloody incredible – I can NOT take this away from him. His daughter did my head in. A lot of these characters were pretty terrible though. Well worth a watch, and I can see why it’s getting so much hype!

Puss In Boots: The Last Wish

Rach and I did a double bill one Sunday (we watched this and then Knock at the Cabin – I know… one extreme to the next). I love an animated film and the Puss in Boots films have always made me laugh! I really enjoyed this. I love a fairy tale! Even though I had to get some teens kicked out of the film, I thoroughly enjoyed this: there were so many laughs. Puss in Boots is so full of sass.

Knock at the Cabin

This, again, was not quite what I was expecting from the trailer… but I still enjoyed it! It didn’t scare me as much as I thought it would (I’m a total wuss, so I always go into these films expecting to be scared out of my mind). It was a lot more psychological thriller than the usual jumpy-scary film, ha. I wouldn’t have been able to make that decision. Plus, we love Bautista in this house.
