IT’S FILM FRIDAY

Today, it’s the turn of a few films we went to see in the cinema in January! Obv this wasn’t the only ones we saw… but a very small snippet, ha!

Plane

Honest to god, this made me so stressed. There was just so much in this that made my heart race, made me want to hide and made me want to have to pace about. I just… no thanks. I needed an extra hand to hold Rach’s hand, hide my eyes and hide my ears at the same time (cause obviously if I can’t hear it, it ain’t gonna happen). I loved the surprise Fitz appearance (if you’re a Scandal fan, you know who I mean!)! I really enjoyed this… despite the definite heart-racing-ness! If you’re after a film that’s about vigilantes, a plane crash and people having to overcome differences, I’d proper recommend this!

Babylon

This was MANIC. Absolute mania. A film about the exuberance and the richness of films and film making. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Would I go see it again? Probably not. It’s 3 hours. There’s some weird shit going on in it. Margot Robbie is brilliant but my gosh, her character did my absolute napper in. Manny was my true fave… but also I love Brad Pitt’s character too. Lots to pick apart in this, so if you’re a big film fan, I’d recommend entirely!

Unwelcome

Honestly, this was absolutely bonkers. Irish folk lore. Weird little goblins. Some WILD scenes. If you’re a fan of horror, then sure go see it… if not, maybe don’t, ha. It wasn’t rubbish. Just proper random. Some bits made me laugh. Some bits made me go “ick”. Weird. Just weird. But fascinating too.
