I’ve been sharing the graphic novels we love in my classroom over the past few Mondays and I thought I’d take the time to share stand alone graphic novels we love and have gone mad over.

DOODLEVILLE – CHAD SELL

Drew is just a regular artist. But there’s nothing ordinary about her art. Her doodles are mischievous . . . and rarely do they stay in Doodleville, the world she’s created in her sketchbook. Instead, Drew’s doodles prefer to explore the world outside. After a disastrous earthquake strikes his mother’s birthplace of Puerto Rico, Miles springs into action to help set up a fundraiser for the devastated island. But when a new student’s father goes missing, Miles begins to make connections between the disappearance and a giant corporation sponsoring Miles’ fundraiser. Who is behind the disappearance, and how does that relate to Spider-Man?

This was just another couple of graphic novels that my kids are loving at the moment! I’ll be back with another post soon to share the other graphic novels they love – because trust me… they are LOVING graphic novels!
