ThursTAG: Baby It’s Cold Outside tag

Good morning!

It’s ThursTAG once again and Winter is truly on its way *weep*.

I’m taking on the ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’ tag today! Just a quick one today!

***

Snow Day – What’s your “comfort” book?

I don’t really have a “comfort” book because I don’t reread a lot of books. There’s a few books I reread for work, but that’s rereading for necessity but not because I’m after a bit of comfort. If you’re going to force me to give you an answer though? Matilda because obviously.

Snow Angels – What’s a book that you love so much you would want to be buried with it (a little morbid, but…)?

Woah. That’s a bit extreme. Can I not just say all of the books on my favourites shelves? Because that’s why they’re there.

If I could only save one book? It would be my proof of The Sin Eater’s Daughter. I’m sure you can guess why.

Warm Socks – What’s a book that makes you feel warm inside?(The fluffiest, cutest romance you’ve ever read?)

OH I LOVE A FLUFFY BOOK (but only when I’m in the mood).

You can’t beat a bit of Heartstopper by Alice Oseman. I love those boys and everything that they are ok?

Hot Cocoa – What winter-themed novels have you previously read?

Now, every year I get to these kinds of questions and properly go blank. Do I just not read Christmassy books? Because I honestly, apart from like 1 or 2, can not recall Christmassy books.

If you’re looking for a recommendation though? Give The Christmas Carrolls by Mel Taylor Bessent a go because that is WELL GOOD.

Sledding – What’s a book with the best plot twists? Who’s an author that always keeps you on your toes?

ALL OF THEM. Although the one that pops to my head right now is the plot twists in Vi Spy 2 by Maz Evans because there’s a plot twist or 700 in there that slapped me in the face.

Ugly Sweaters – What’s a book with the ugliest cover?

LOL. What a horrible question. Covers with pictures (not illustrations) of people on.

Next question. I am taking no further comments.

Movie Marathon – What’s the last book you binge read?

Greta and the Ghost Hunters by Sam Copeland. I read it in a matter of like 2 hours on Saturday and I bloody loved out. Out next year and it’s so so good.

Letter to Santa – What’s a book that’s on your wishlist this year?

OH GOD I DON’T KNOW EVERYTHING.

Seriously though, I have no idea. Magic, fantasy goodness. All and any of it.

Thanks so much for popping by!

I’d love to know what’s on YOUR Christmas list!
