Morning everyone!
I hope you’re all doing well!
I’m popping by on your timeline to share something new around here! For anyone who is new around here, I’ve been sharing Maths calendars for a year now and I wanted to branch out and try something SPAG-y. I asked on twitter if these would be something people would be interested in and I received an overwhelming YES from everyone, so I figured I’d give it a go!
As with the Maths calendars, there’s a black and white, a coloured text and a full colour version of each of the different calendars.
In this blog post, you’ll find the following calendars suitable for Lower Key Stage 2 and a calendar suitable for Upper Key Stage 2. I’ve not done calendars for Key Stage One, but it may be something that I look into doing for next month. Instead of a SPAG calendar for May, I’ve put together some Phonics focus calendars which will go live tomorrow that could be used in EYFS/KS1 instead.
For anyone who is new to my calendars: it’s a question a day for every day of the month. Some days it’s just quite a straight forward question, but other days it’s a bit more in depth. This is the first month I’ve done SPAG calendars and I’d love some feedback. The Maths versions of these have been SUPER popular and have always been some of my biggest hits!

If you find a mistake, please just send me a kind message and let me know and I’ll be happy to edit them, but be kind about it. I’ve had a few unpleasant messages telling me I’ve made a mistake. I’m only human, so please treat me as one. I make mistakes and sometimes, after sitting here for hours, I can’t see them!
As always, I’d love to know if this is any use to you! You can leave me a comment, you can get in touch via the Contact tab at the top or you can tweet/DM me (if you follow me on social media!).
Feel free to download, share with parents, put on your websites or your online learning platforms! Please don’t put this on any websites claiming them as your own – a little credit (either of my blog, my twitter @eenalol or my instagram @thisgeordieteaches) goes a long long way! A few people have been claiming them as their own over the past few months and it makes me a bit upset. I don’t charge for these; I’m not making any money from them, I’m sharing because I know that people have found them useful. These really are a labour of love for me… so if you do download and share on your social media (which I really do appreciate), please please just give credit. Please spread the love and share this as far and as wide as you wish!

Steph – The SPAG Challenge calendars are absolutely fabulous! Thanks for your hard work and for sharing. I teach English to ESOL students and the calendars will be a great challenge for my groups. Thanks for inspiring me!
