Good morning!
Another week down, another #SixforSunday post to read! I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe! As I write this, there’s so many rumours going round about different things that throwing my life into my blog is probably for the best hah!
This week’s #SixforSunday is genuinely one I could’ve had about 690678 answers for because well let’s be honest all the books do this haha. This week we’re talking:
Books that gave you the feels
Now, I’m going to go with books that ABSOLUTELY BROKE ME, as in I cried for a solid (insert extended amount of time) when I finished them. I don’t think any of these will come as a surprise to anyone… but let’s be real, everything makes me cry haha!
- A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness
- And the Stars Were Burning Brightly by Danielle Jawando
- My Life as a Cat by Carlie Soroziak
- The Midnight Guardians by Ross Montgomery
- Hold Back the Tide by Melinda Salisbury
- The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy
Honourable mention to: Paper Butterflies by Lisa Heathfield, and A Thousand Perfect Notes by C.G.Drews!
There’s quite a range of different books in there. Just know that I cry at 98% of the books I read. If you’ve got characters I can love, you KNOW I’m going to fall apart.
Don’t forget to link me, or @ me on twitter! I’d love to read which emotion you FEEL and which books made you feel it (Charlotte, I’m looking at you… I KNOW YOU FEEL EMOTIONS)
See you next week for #SixforSunday does ‘Scary stories/scary characters’
