Happy ThursTAG peeps!
I hope you are all well! I’m sorry I was a bit MIA last week – I was end of term/end of year/midst of pandemic tired and needed a Sunday of just NOTHING, so that included blogging. I hope you all had a great week last week!
It’s Thursday, so you all know that means it’s time for another tag! This one I saw on PaperFury’s blog (I am a massive fan… hi Cait!). This is probably one I’ve done before, but here we go anyway!

- Answer the questions below
- Tag 10 others to take part
- ENJOY THE TAG!
A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read
Haha. Oh god. I am so sorry Kelly. My gorgeous Welsh fave Kelly has even bought me these books but I’ve just NOT got round to reading them yet. I WILL. I promise I will, but I just haven’t yet. Every time I think about it, another book whispers sweet nothings to me and I just choose that instead.
A book that’s been on your TBR forever and yet you still haven’t picked it up
Like everything? I have books on my TBR that have been there forever and a day… it’s all the fault of these new books that come along! However, Sara Barnard told me probably 3-4 years ago that I need to read Station Eleven and I still haven’t. (I do own it though haha!)
A book in a series you’ve started, but haven’t gotten round to finishing yet
Hmmm… now I don’t start many books and not finish them (unless I’m like conciously NOT finishing them), but a series I’ve started that I’ve not finished yet? The Three Dark Crowns series by Kendare Blake is one I’ve started (I’ve only read book 1) that I want to get round to reading the rest eventually! (While we’re talking about these books, can I just say how much it unsettles me that they go 3, 1, 2, 5?)
A classic you’ve always liked the sound of, but never actually read
I have NO idea. I don’t invest a lot of my time in thinking about classics and maybe I should? Someone needs to just MAKE me read a classic… I think the THOUGHT of classics is what puts me off. Recommend me some?
A popular book that it seems everyone but you has read
Again, SO MANY OF THE BOOKS to be honest. Like Sarah J Maas? Cassandra Clare? Those are the two that jump out at me. I just can NOT invest myself in anything longer than 3/4 books.
A book that inspired a film/TV adaptation that you really love, but you just haven’t read it yet
Oh lord, that relies on me watching a lot of TV/films that aren’t just Drag Race and Friends doesn’t it? HA. Good luck with that one then. OH. OH. OH. I can say the Shadow and Bone Leigh Bardugo books though! I know that series is coming out soonish on Netflix and it would be good to READ them before I watch (or don’t watch) them ha!
A book you see all over Instagram but haven’t picked up yet
Oooh! An interesting question! I have seen Queenie EVERYWHERE and I am DYING to get my hands on it because I have heard ALL THE GOOD THINGS about it. So definitely that!

Lol, from this tag, I hope you guys have learned that:
- I own a lot of books
- New books are my jam and are MORE LIKELY to be read than books I’ve had for a while hah
Okay… if you want to have a go at this, go for it! I’m not going to tag anyone!
See you tomorrow!
S x
Ahh so glad you liked this tag too!! It was fun 😍 also great for dragging ourselves oops 😂👌🏻 A Darker Shade of Magic series truly IS perfect though so I hope you read it soon!!

I hope you get to read Queenie soon. It’s brilliant and I’d highly recommend the audiobook version.
