Reading Strangeworlds made me laugh, cry and delighted me. It’s a hug in a book that’s just taken you on a bit of an adventure. It’s danger and then a cup of tea and a biscuit offered when you get back. It’s a glorious mix of is an hope, adventure, exploration, love, humour, excitement, and because every good book needs it, a bit of peril. You never feel like you’re not safe though. This book is a complete hit in my reading life and I can’t wait to see how everything is explored and developed in the coming books. I finished book 1 with SO MANY QUESTIONS, so bring on book 2!

Stepping into Martian 👽 by Andy Weir world. It would be intense and scary. I’m not likely in reality to go to Mars so why not use this opportunity?

As he was left on Mars alone. I think it would have been nicer for him if had someone to talk to. Obviously hope we could have had enough food for two. I like to think we could support each other isolated from world and bounce ideas off each other. He would be Mars. I would have been his Venus. I hope we could have had a little romance. How fantastic would it be to literally be a couple alone on a planet with just each other? Working together in partnership to efficiently solve complex problems as a team. And of course crucially the problem solving efforts leading to the successful rescue of both of us, would be the crucial happy ending to the Mars chapter. Then further chapters would be living together happily ever after back on Earth 🌍
