Today, it’s the turn of a few films we’ve seen in the cinema!
I hope you enjoy my reviews! Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

This I’ve seen twice… and I still struggle to come up with the words for how much I loved it. From the animation, to the humour, to the colourings to the characters… honestly, this is just everything. The first time we saw it, I just got through it on sheet desire to see EVERYTHING and the plot; the second time we saw it, I was watching for the details and the cleverness. I just think these are some of the most gorgeous films ever created – if you disagree, well then, that’s on you quite frankly. If you’re looking for something funny, clever, interesting and slightly bonkers, then this is the film for you. I really want to see it again. I loved learning more about Gwen and it was so lovely to meet so many new SpiderPeople – Peter Parkedcar made me laugh SO MUCH. Just honestly. Go see this. Very excited for the next instalment (apparently next year?!)
Fast X

Yknow what? I’ve never seen a single one of the films in this franchise, so I had no idea what to expect going into it. Before we went to see it, Rachel did ask me what I knew about them and I said “cars and family and shit”… and Fast X is true to that. The campery and flamboyance of Jason Momoa’s character was truly wonderful to see (that purple outfit is my particular fave and I loved his little space buns). You’ve truly got to suspend belief when you watch this film cause yeah sure you can drive down a dam and drive out of a plane. Like it’s genuinely quite bonkers, but in a very loveable manner. I actually thoroughly enjoyed this (and I’ve seen it twice, ha).
The Little Mermaid

I enjoyed this, but it was a lot at times. I’m not the biggest Little Mermaid fan at the best of times – Rachel is a massive fan – but that didn’t stop me enjoying this. Melissa McCarthy was an amazing Ursula! Would definitely say go and see it so you can make up your own opinion. I can definitely see why it’s getting lots of love, but also see why people are a bit like “meh”.
