#SixforSunday – Bookish resolutions

Good afternoon my wonderful #SixforSunday friends!

Happy New Year! I hope you are all well and are having a good 2021 so far!

It’s time for a new month of #SixforSunday prompts! This month, we are making it all about the books with the following prompts:

3rd – Bookish resolutions for 2021
10th – Bookish wins of 2020
17th – Books you wish you’d read in 2020
24th – Books you’re excited for in 2021
31st – Bookish hates

I can’t wait to see how you interpret these prompts…

This week, we’re talking:

Bookish resolutions for 2021

I’m not a big fan of setting resolutions (call it the fear of failure in me, ha!) however, I can make some bookish ones!

  1. Read 52 MG books this year
  2. Continue to promote MG and graphic novels to my kids
  3. Try to read and review more non-fiction
I actually do read bits for school, but I never get round to reviewing it!
  4. Continue to ENJOY reading
  5. Log my reading on StoryGraph
So far, I’m also still going with Goodreads too… but I will probably get bored of tracking with both, so will try to phase out GR
  6. Be a bit more ruthless with hoarding my books
I tend to keep a lot of books (especially picture books/non-fiction) and I need to get better at getting them out of my space and giving them away/donating them/giving them to school

Let’s see if I can keep to this… I think I will be able to!

Share your bookish resolutions with me, or use the hashtag #SixforSunday and I’ll find your blog posts!

Thank you so much for stopping by! What are YOUR reading resolutions for 2021?

Yes to quitting the book hoarding! I’m majorly guilty of that but have (eek!) started selling some online! 🙈 It’s scary at first but I think I’ve built up my ruthlessness a little now! Happy reading in 2021! ☺️
