FREE-DAY: Active May calendar!

Hello, I’m back agan!

I don’t normally post twice in one day, but I’ve been working on a little something for the school website in light of school closures.

As PE lead, I wanted to create something for our school website to support our parents with keeping their children active and staying healthy in the coming weeks. Like the English and Maths resources I’ve posted over the past 2 days, it’s set up as a calendar for May with an activity to do each day.

This one has a slight change as I’ve set it up as a Bronze/Silver/Gold kind of thing to try to show different levels of difficulty. I’m sure there’s other documents very similar to this, and it’s nothing revolutionary, but I figured as I was making it that I would share it with you all in case it was useful to parents, teachers, leaders… whoever might find it of use!

I’ve made a few versions of the same document: a full colour version, a coloured text version and a black and white version! Each pdf is available to download under each of the respective pictures!

I hope these are useful! Feel free to download, share with parents, put on your websites! Sharing is caring and we all need to work together to support our families and kids however we can! Let me know if you do decide to download and share them – it would be lovely to hear from you!

If you’d like a June version, let me know and I can get on it! I’ll probably create one anyway, so let me know if you want me to share it and I’ll put it in a blog post! I’d like to try and be as helpful as I can. I’m a teacher without a class at the minute, so I’d like to help in whichever ways I can! Have a think and let me know if there’s anything you’d like or what other kinds of things would be useful to you!

Like I say, there’s probably very similar things out there, but I had fun making these and I hope they’re useful to someone!

    Hi!
We used these from Y2 to Y6 and the children loved them! One of my children was so inspired that she finished 2 different calendars in the first week & then made one for me! It really stretched her & she’s incredibly excited when I email my answers for her to check.
May of our staff have been wondering if you’ve made a June series? I know, cheeky!
